Vincent Leroy Harnesses the Sun in New Monumental Sculpture

Placed in front of the new Kumming mall in China is a massive new sculpture by French artist Vincent Leroy made in collaboration with Debut Studio. Titled The Sun Always Rises in the East, the structure portrays a pixelated version of the sun that is comprised of transparent panels that attract light to create a dynamic blur effect.
